In this 3-part interview with KHON’s Tannya Joaquin from Hawaii’s Kitchen On The Road, Manager Shinji, Chef Tom, and Chef Carlos talk about new dishes and drinks on the menu for lunch, dinner, and happy hour.


Part 1:

Part 3:
Tannya Joaquin from Living808 builds one of Rocky Japanese Steak Teppan Restaurant’s famous onion volcanoes with the help Chef Carlos. We learn more about the eponymous Rocky Aoki, founder of the modern Japanese Teppanyaki experience. Finally, we feast our eyes on the famous dessert: Rocky Hula Hiki Dula, a combination of ice cream, local pastries and sweets.
